| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
音情報の入手が困難な聴覚障害者も健聴者も共に音を楽しめる教材を開発し，国際学会The 12th International Conference on Advances in Computer Entertainment Technology. ACE2017において発表した。９種類のセミの説明と鳴き声を準備し，その鳴き声を周波数帯ごとに5本の指に振動として伝達するデバイスを作成し，モニターと振動体を組み合わせた教材を開発した。また，このデバイスは日本デザイン学会作品集にて詳細を公表した。

Reason
デバイスの開発が初年度で完了したため，共感覚を活用した教材が，聴覚情報の有無に関わらず効果的なのかについて，打楽器を用いた検証実験を実施することができた。成果は2016年7月リンツで行われる15th International Conference on Computers Helping People with Special Needsにおいて発表することが決定している。

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
耳の不自由な児童を対象にタブレット端末を用いた教材への開発を試み，音体験を拡張する共感覚的な擬音語教材としての有効性を確かめる実験を行う。効果が確認されれば，聴覚支援特別学校などへの教材配布を行う。
