Outline of Final Research Achievements

The purpose of this study was to clarify the process by which a group composed of active seniors realized and develop social contribution using ICT, and to examine how the group functions as a learning community.
In terms of improving ICT literacy while interacting with members in a study session once a month aiming to improve their skills, we were able to capture the success stories of "learning - teaching each other" by "the elderly - the elderly."
On the other hand, the improvement of ICT literacy through the model and activities of social contribution activities was difficult to relate to the consciousness that teaching to others would become self-study. It became a case to show the problem of "learning - teaching each other" by "the elderly - the elderly."

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
