Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では,ポーラスゲル膜に生じる膨潤誘起パターン変態の機構解明に取り組んでおり,本年度の研究業績の概要は以下のようにまとめられる.まず,査読付き論文として英文3編(ただし,先行研究から引き継いでいる研究成果を含む)および和文1編であった.また,国際会議での発表が6件(うち,招待講演4件)であった.Okumura et al., Int. J. Solids Struct. (2015)では,パターン変態に及ぼす予ひずみの影響を明らかにした.また,Okumura et al., J. Mech. Phys. Solids (2016)では,2つのスケーリング指数を導入することによって,ゲル材料の膨潤現象を解析するための自由エネルギー関数の高精度化を行った.また,この理論モデルを使った解析の結果として,膨潤誘起破断の機構が新たに説明できることを示した.本研究のポイントであるダイアモンドプレートパターンからS字パターンへの分化についても,再現に成功しており,成果の一部を,国内会議において発表し始めている.

Strategy for Future Research Activity

次年度は,ダイアモンドプレートパターンからS字パターンへの分化の機構解明や,それにかかわる解析技術等の論文発表を進めたい.また,高度化した自由エネルギー関数を有限要素解析ソフトに実装し,基礎的検討を進めるとともに,パターン変態に及ぼす影響についても解析を行い,明らかにする予定である.
