Outline of Final Research Achievements

Based on the mRNA microarray analysis of peripheral blood mononuclear cells before and after meal load, we identified suppressor of cytokine signaling (SOCS) 1 and SOCS 3 and inflammation control secretory protein factor A (unpublished data) as a molecule group responsive to oxidative stress occurring after meal.
Measurement of these factors might be expected to become a new index to evaluate chronic inflammation leading to lifestyle-related diseases.
