昨年に引き続き、Arkadia 結合タンパク質のスクリーニングとArkadia を制御するcofactorの候補タンパク質の機能解析のための基盤体制の確立を進め、epitope-tag付きタンパク質用のプラスミドのデザインとコンストラクション、一部のタンパク質の機能解析を行った。in vivoの先進的遺伝子改変マウスを用いた実験については、Arkadia floxマウスの作製のためのデザインは完了し、掛け合わせるための骨芽細胞特異的ColI-Cre トランスジェニックマウス（ColI-Cre Tgマウス）について、in vivoの発現の特異性の検討を完了した。BMP 特異的プロモーターの下流で蛍光タンパク質が発現するTgマウスについては、プロモーターの特異性の検討をin vitroで完了した。さらに、比較対象として準備していたBMPシグナルを負に制御するE3 ユビキチンリガーゼSmurf2のノックアウトマウスの骨に異常が見出され、その骨解析を進めた。より詳細に骨のイメージング解析を行うために、透明化の手法を新たに取り入れ、骨のイメージングに条件検討を行った。
