Outline of Final Research Achievements

We established Prx1Cre;Ai14 mice in which Prx1-expressing cells were genetically marked with tdTomato. Adipose-derived stem/stromal cells (ADSCs) from Prx1Cre;Ai14 mice expressed tdTomato. Using the transgenic mice, we transplanted fat grafts from wild mice to wild mice with tdTomato positive ADSCs, and analyzed the grafts with immunofluorescent imaging.
In the transplanted grafts, tdTomato-positive cells partially expressed perilipin or CD31, suggesting ADSCs contributed to regeneration of adipocytes and endothelial cells.
