Outline of Final Research Achievements	With regard to the development of teaching tools for the purpose of preventing the care of the elderly by utilizing the social capital's regional culture and local industry, it is possible to increase the number of teaching tools that symbolize the prefecture's symbol of duck feeding and animals and plants using trees produced by the prefecture. However, it did not reach the point where it tried actually in the care prevention business consigned by the municipality or municipalities and evaluated the effect. The social capital rating scale was analyzed using the existing scale, and it was found that the average rank was higher for men currently working and for those working in local industries and local companies by age 65. It is suggested that the contents of community participation, neighborhood relations, sense of credibility with the community and people, participation in politics and activities are appropriate among the scales.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements	ソーシャル・キャピタルの地域文化と地場産業を活用した高齢者の介護予防を目的とした教具は、県産の木々を使用して県魚である鮎をはじめ、県木のイチイ、県鳥のライチョウ等を象っており、木の国・山の国とうたわれるように林業や木工業等に従事してきた男性高齢者においては、馴染み深く、愛着のあるものであり市販の教具や紙、プラスティック製品の教具と比較して活用されることが期待される。評価尺度においても、介護予防事業の効果を図る項目として地域参加や近所関係、地域や人との信頼感、政治への参加・活動に特化した項目を測れば良いことから、事業実践の現場で簡便に使用することができる。
