Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
In 2015, we focused on the fundamental and theoretical research issues on negotiated spectrum access. Specifically, the problems [P1a] money-exchange model based incentive mechanism, [P1b] resource-exchange model based incentive mechanism, [P2a] user assignment issue for one-to-many scenario, and [P2c] resource allocation issue for short-term cooperation have been extensively addressed. The resolutions of these problems are critical and of great importance for this research. These research results are necessary for answering the questions [G1] how to incentive the users to cooperate and [G2] how to optimize the spectrum utilization efficiency.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.
Reason
We consider that the research progresses smoothly. We have published 3 journal papers and 6 internal conference papers in the past year under this funding. The four research problems considered in the application form are all well addressed.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
In the following year, we will continue the research with emphasis on more complex research problems, i.e., [P2b] user assignment issue for many-to-many scenario and [P2d] resource allocation issue for long-term cooperation. Also, we will try to implement our proposal on real testbed.

Causes of Carryover |
Parts of our article cost and travel expenses have been covered by other funding from our colleague.
|
Expenditure Plan for Carryover Budget |
The incurring amount will be used to purchase new hardware and software for our experiments.
