Outline of Final Research Achievements

This study was the action research to design a training program for using Kaya(a general term for Japanese pampas grass, Imperata cylindrical, rice straw, and reed). Kaya has been used as sustainable resources in Japan. I conducted 10 programs for the general public in Shikoku region. They learned how to maintain the prairie environment, renew or repair a thatched roof, and reuse.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
