Research/Data collection: (1) critical progress observing Japanese firms exhibiting regional design products at Maison & Objet in Paris; secured contacts for follow-up interviews. (2) secured contacts for follow-up interviews from fashion sector through attendance at fashion weeks in Tokyo Dissemination: (1) Invited to present lecture on the topic of "Beyond 2020: Crafting Authentic Brands for Global Markets" at 京都逸品経営塾 - Kyoto (2) presented competitive paper "The Role of Place Brands in the Development and Marketing of Cultural Goods" at International Place Branding Association Conference - London.
