Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study has collected materials on Social Pedagogy and conducted interviews at related facilities in Central Asia and EU. The articles on Social Pedagogy have been reviewed, and its characteristics and current situation, in particular, have been examined. In addition, the concept of Social Education has been defined, and the theory and practices on Social Pedagogy in Central Asia have been reviewed. Regarding theory, European Social Pedagogy has an impact on the Social Pedagogy in Russia as well as areas in Central Asia. However, additional researches are needed to confirm the impact of European Social Pedagogy in Central Asia. On the other hand, practices linked to education and welfare were started in Central Asia. Possibilities of constructing Comparative Social Pedagogy Discipline based on theory and practices regarding education and welfare were clarified by this study.
