Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
In 2017, in addition to the summary of test results, special attention was given to numerical analysis and parametric studies. Different ratios of negative bending to torsion moment were considered in the numerical analysis to investigate the effects of torsional moments in structural behavior of steel-concrete composite beams. In addition, the effects of shear connections ratios (actual numerical of shear connections over the required number of shear connectors) in steel-concrete composite beams subjected to negative bending moment region were also investigated by numerical analyses. On the basis of the results obtained in this study, three papers have been published and another two academic papers for international journals are under preparation.
