Outline of Final Research Achievements

For energy saving, development of low magnetic loss soft magnetic materials is expected, and low power consumption, high efficiency, and high speed are required. As this research aims, research and development of soft magnetic materials with excellent soft magnetic properties and high saturation magnetic flux density are very important research subjects.
In the Fe81.3CoxSi0.5B13.5-xP4Cu0.7 alloy system (x = 3-6 at.%) Having the compositionally searched total concentration 86.3 at.% Of iron and cobalt elements, a small amount of Co addition caused high saturation magnetic flux It became possible to achieve compatibility between density (1.85 T) and low coercive force (<10 A/m). It has become possible to ultra-miniaturize the magnetic core material used for transformers, motors and the like and ultra-low iron loss energy due to soft magnetic characteristics.
