Outline of Final Research Achievements

An antigen of Neospora caninum、SAG1 was displayed on the surface of Rous sarcoma virus-like particles (RSV VLPs), which were prepared in silskworm larvae. These RSV VLPsdisplaying SAG1 were purifed by sucrose density gradient centrifugation and the displyed SAG1 was detected using epoxy group-modified glass slides.
In addition, core protein of hepatitis C virus (HCV) and its antibody were prepared in Escherichia coli and silkworm pupae and purifed by affinity chromatographies. Binding of the antibody to HCV core protein was detected using epoxy group-modified glass slides.
