Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Multiple gene-expression analysis using single-cell real-time PCR showed that WT1 specific effector-memory CTL (WT1-EM CTL) population from cancer patients could be divided into two groups: the “activated” and “quiescent” states and WT1-EM CTL in good responder turn from “activated (Group: A)” to “quiescent (Group: B)” after WT1 peptide vaccination. We further show that TCR avidity could have played an essential role in differentiation of self-antigen-reactive T cells.
