Outline of Final Research Achievements |
MHC-II expressed on antigen presenting cells such as dendritic cells presents antigenic peptides to CD4 T cells and initiates acquired immunity. The cell-surface expression of MHC-II is tightly regulated, however, the regulation mechanism remains to be clarified. In this study we obtained the following results: 1. MHC-II closslinking induced intracellular Ca2+ influx was required for MHC-II endocytosis. 2. LPS induced Rab11 expression in dendritic cells.
