We investigated Mental Health status and QOL for elderly Japanese immigrant after retirement their job using questionnaire in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Evaluation items are as follows; Socio-economic status, GHQ-28 for their mental health status, and EQ-5D for their QOL status. 98 samples (collect rate; 90.7%) were collected. Mean Age was 69.5, and 21 (23.8%) people having a chronic diseases. People who had chronic diseases were worse depression and QOL than people who did not have chronic diseases. It suggests that different atmosphere may amplify their anxiety and uncomfortable for having chronic diseases patients. We have to intervene in Japanese elderly immigrant groups to improve their mental health and QOL especially for having chronic diseases patients.
