Outline of Final Research Achievements |
To obtain more mature iPS induced hepatocyte like cells, we investigated a novel protocol by using mesenchymal stem cells and decellularized liver matrix. Mesenchymal stem cells and decellularized liver matrix could enhance the hepatic function of human iPSC-derived hepatocyte-like cells. However, these cells have immature function compared to primary hepatocyte. More technological innovations are needed to clinical application.
