Outline of Final Research Achievements |
At 8-11 weeks of gestation, cell-free HOXC4 mRNA level in plasma of pregnant women who would develop fetal growth restriction later was statistically higher than normal pregnant women. It was suggested that HOXC4 was one of the key genes in understanding pathogenesis of fetal growth restriction.
