Outline of Final Research Achievements |
I had replaced the research approach to meet the fundamental goal of high speed optical coherence tomography(OCT) engine which aiming reduction of motion artifacts. The another approach is the correction of motion artifacts by using particularly designed scanning protocol. A Lissajous scanning pattern, which has a trajectory that frequently overlaps with itself, was adopted and designed for OCT volume scan, and a three-dimensional eye motion correction method was developed. Eye motion artifacts were corrected automatically by software. By comparing the image without and with the motion correction, it was shown the effectiveness of the method. An experiment was performed and the results corrected by our method was compared with the ground truths to verify its validity. The experimental results showed that our method effectively corrects eye motion artifacts. Furthermore, the sufficient repeatability of our method was confirmed.
