| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
まず、育児政策に関する研究を進め,``Evaluating the Effects of Child Care Policies on Maternal Labor Supply and Children's Cognitive Development"、``Assessing the Performance of Nonexperimental Estimators for Evaluating Head Start"というタイトルの学術論文を２本執筆した。前者の論文は Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona (2015年5月)等で報告を行い、有益なフィードバックを得た。後者の論文については、the Asian Conference on Applied Microeconomics(2016年1月東京) 等の学会・ワークショップにおいて報告を行った。また、本分野の専門家であるPetra Todd教授 (ペンシルバニア大学) および Rebecca Maynard教授 (ペンシルバニア大学) との共同作業および議論を通して論文を改善することができた。現在、両論文とも査読結果を受け修正を行っているが、修正の締め切りは両論文とも2016年度夏頃までとなっている。また、第2の研究として Hans Holter教授、Jonas Kolsrud教授and Serhiy Stepanchuk教授との共同研究を進めている。本研究では、失業保険、医療保険、福祉政策、障がい者保険および年金制度下での、賃金リスク、出産、結婚・離婚そして健康リスクを考慮した、労働力供給と貯蓄のモデルを利用した社会保険政策の評価および設計を行っている。

1: Research has progressed more than it was originally planned.
Reason
Progress is quite good. The first paper, ``Evaluating the Effects of Child Care Policies on Maternal Labor Supply and Children's Cognitive Development" is currently being revised for resubmission at the Journal of Human Resources and the second paper is, ``Assessing the Performance of Nonexperimental Estimators for Evaluating Head Start," is being revised and resubmitted at the Journal of Labor Economics. Both these journals are top field journals in the field of labor economics.

| Strategy for Future Research Activity |
2017年度において、研究資金は、フィラデルフィア、ペンシルバニア、オスロの共同研究者の訪問、書籍などの必要な資料の購入、RAの雇用、そして、学会・ワークショップ参加のための渡航に使用される予定である。特に今年度は、2本の論文の修正および再提出を完了させる必要があり、重要な年である。。また、2017年より論文投稿を開始できるよう、最適な保険政策に関する研究も大幅な進捗が見られることが期待される。

Plane tickets were cheaper than expected and I also plan to have more expenses next year so I saved some of the money to use in FY2016.
