Outline of Annual Research Achievements

平成29-30年、申請者は国際共同研究加速基金を得て英国サザンプトン大学MRC疫学ユニットに留学させて頂いた。彼らとカンファレンスを行い、これまでと全く違った視点から、LSSや腰椎すべりと職業との関係を明らかにした。(Ishimoto Y, Cooper C, Ntani G etal.BMC Musculoskelet Disord. 2019 26;20(1):618, Ishimoto Y, Cooper C, Ntani G etal.Am J Ind Med. 2019 62(5):430-8)
また2016年国際腰痛学会において「MRI画像の自動解析装置」(Amir Jamaldin SPINE 2017)でアワードを獲得したオックスフォード大学整形外科学のフェアバンク教授とジャマルディン技師との連携することが出来た。彼らの読影装置が小生のグレーディングを学習し、その再現率の高さも証明できた。(Ishimoto Y, Jamaludin A, Cooper C etal. BMC Musculoskelet Disord. 2020 Mar 12;21(1):158.)
また 申請者が英国留学中に、オックスフォード大学ミラダメディカルのティモアー・カダー教授、同大学整形外科学のジェラミー・フェアバンク教授、同大学リハビリテーション科ジル・アーバン教授の推薦で「スパインネット(SpineNet)」のAdvisory Groupの一員に入れて頂いた。スパインネット2011年に設立され、現在に到るまで腰痛研究のための腰椎MRIのソフトウェアの開発を行っている。2018年5月、カナダのバンフで行われた国際腰痛学会においてAdvisory Boardが設立され第一回カンファレンスが開かれたが、申請者も参加した。
