| Research Abstract |
Five Priority Research Areas were established as the focus on cancer research. The overall objective of this project, termed Integrative Research Toward the Conquest of Cancer, is the coordination of all research activities of the five Priority Areas by providing all necessary support in terms of information, technology and materials. In addition, a project group called "Frontiers of Cancer Sciences" was established which aims to utilize new technologies and ideas in pursuit of cutting-edge cancer research. The overall activity of these Priority Areas has been very productive throughout as a result of these efforts.
