Research Abstract

齋藤は、カーボンナノチューブの電子格子相互作用行列を計算するプログラムを開発した。ナノチューブの電子状態計算とあわせ、これを今後超伝導の機構について調べるための足がかりとする。この電子格子相互作用はフェルミエネルギーのあるブリルアン領域のK点と呼ばれる対象点の周りで非常に異方的であることを見出した。この結果、超伝導のギャップが必ずしもS的でない可能性が出てきた。電子格子相互作用計算が正しいことを検証するため、実験結果のある光学スペクトルにおける、フォノンの緩和に関する結果を得実験と良い一致を示した。
福山は、過去10年ほどの間に展開してきた、分子性結晶が示す多様な物性についての系統的な研究の成果を総説としてまとめた。同時に、この方向の研究を更に発展させ、局在スピンと伝導電子が相互作用するフタロシアニンにおける「近藤効果と電荷秩序」の相間過程を明らかにし、金属強磁性の可能性を指摘した。更に、DNAにおけるキャリアードーピングの可能性についても明らかにした。
岩佐は、層状窒化物超伝導体Li_x(THF)_yHfNClおよびZrNCl_<0.7>におけるT_c、格子定数、フォノン周波数の圧力効果の測定から、McMillanの理論を仮定して解析すると電子格子結合定数λが極めて大きくなければならないことを見出した。また、Li_xZrNClの比熱測定に初めて成功し、この物質は高いTcのわりに電子比熱係数γが極めて小さいという特徴を有していることを明らかにした。
佐々木は,SPring-8放射光を使用した局所領域における赤外反射スペクトルの2次元走査測定を行い,電子状態変化と強く結合した分子振動スペクトル構造を利用した有機伝導体表面の局所電子状態分布を実空間可視化する手法を開発した.この手法を用いて,バンド幅制御型モット転移系有機超伝導体である重水素分子置換κ-[(h8-ET)_<1-x>(d8-ET)_x]_2Cu[N(CN)_2]Brにおける金属-絶縁体電子相分離の実空間可視化に成功した.
