超構造における異常磁気伝導現象の発現

Research Abstract

GaAs/AlGaAs2次元正孔系の高次ランダウ準位が関わる量子ホール領域において,抵抗の顕著な異方性を見いだし,面内磁場の効果や温度依存性などを詳しく調べた.2次元電子系において見いだされている類似の効果との比較にもとづき,この現象がストライプ相と呼ばれる1次元的な電子密度の変調構造の出現を反映したものであると結論した.
磁性ドット中に現れる磁気渦状態の交流電流による共鳴励起現象を系統的に研究した.また,磁気渦中心に現れる磁気コアの向きをパルス電流で反転させることが可能であることを磁気力顕微鏡による直接観察によって示した.
電流の磁化に与えるトルクのsd相互作用モデルによらない一般的な記述の可能性を議論した.その結果、スピン流を計算することでトルクを評価する可能性が明らかになった.これは現実の物質での磁化反転効率の評価に役立つと考え解析を進めている.
田嶋・梶田らが観測した有機導体alpha-(BEDT-TTF)2I3の負性層間磁気抵抗を,量子極限にある多層Dirac電子系における各層のゼロモードLandau準位間のトンネル伝導により説明し,ゼロギャップ状態が実現していることを確認した.また2次元Dirac電子系であるグラフェンが積層したグラファイトにおいても負性層間磁気抵抗を観測し,同様のモデルで説明した.
