Research Abstract

本年度は、,縮退プラズマ計測に関する主要計測装置の開発を続行し、これらを用いて爆縮実験を行った。
中性子分光施設:主要設備である多チャンネル中性子分光器MANDALAの高次のγ線対策としてターゲットチャンバー付近での鉛設置を行った。これにより中性子検出時のS/Nが改善された。残るチャンネルについても実施の予定である。散乱中性子検出器:二次反応とは独立した燃料密度計測のため、燃料粒子による散乱中性子を利用する方法を検討し予備試験を行なった。
小型電子スペクトロメータ:高速点火のエネルギー担体である高速電子の特性を測定するため、チャンバー内部に装着できる小型のスペクトロメータを設計製作した。エネルギー較正実験は今後行う予定である。
超高速X線画像計測:一次元画像サンプリングを応用したX線ストリークカメラを多チャンネル化し、電子温度の二次元空間分布の時間変化を十分な時間空間分解能で直接計測する手法を確立した。また、大口径X線ストリーク管を製作し、画像計測の大面積化を行い、より広範囲の測定を可能とした。
クライオターゲット:球殻状のフォームシェルターゲットを開発、液体重水素の充填を行ない、充填の均一性を評価した。
理論・シミュレーション:二次元流体コードにより高密度爆縮時の燃料のダイナミクスを評価し、実験での測定結果を解析した。
以上の成果のもとで爆縮実験を行い、高密度爆縮燃料プラズマの特性を詳細に計測・解析することに成功した。
