| Research Abstract |
タンパク質のリン酸化は、細胞周期、細胞内シグナル伝達、微小管重合など多様な細胞機能に関与する。我々は、Pin1 が癌やアルツハイマー病に関わる機構の解明を継続して行うとともに、これら以外の加齢疾患の発症にも関わることを明らかにした。またリン酸化タンパク質の機能を制御する分子としてGas7 を発見し、Gas7 が、リン酸化タウを介して微小管重合を促進する、脳特異的タンパク質であること、また、アルツハイマー病で激減していることを明らかにした。
