| Research Abstract |
核膜と染色体に注目し、その構造とダイナミクスの解明を行うため、核膜と染色体の双方に結合する生体因子としてBarrier-to-Autointegration Factor (BAF)やlamin A、Sun/Kash蛋白質などの核膜因子に注目し、ヒト細胞やショウジョウバエ、分裂酵母を用いて、その細胞内動態と機能の解析を行った。独自に開発したlive CLEMイメージング法などを用いて解析し、核膜や核膜を構成する分子が、細胞増殖、分化、老化、アポトーシスに重要な働きをすることを分子レベルで明らかにした。
