Research Abstract

1.カーボンナノチューブの選択励起に関して、金属微小構造体で構築されたナノギャップへの取り込みを行った。その結果、ナノギャップにおける局所的電場増強効果による高いナノチューブ選択性を有する励起の発現に成功した。また、通常のバルク系ではその励起が困難である非対称リングブリージングモードの高効率励起にも成功し、微小場におけるナノチューブの電子状態制御に関する知見が得られた。
2.金属微小接合部位に特異的に架橋させた分子の量子化伝導測定に成功した。特に、極低温・超高真空中での測定系の構築により、架橋分子の鎖長依存性についての定量的な議論を行なうことが可能となった。その結果、分子架橋状態において金属一分子間伝導と分子内伝導の双方に対する電極金属種依存性が発現することが明らかとなった。その電極金属依存性に関する半定量的な解釈もなされ、分子接合におけるより詳細な知見を得ることに成功した。
3.非対称構造障壁を構築した基板上における脂質二分子膜の自発展開実験を行なった。その結果、膜内に添加したガングリオシドGM1-コレラ毒素の複合タンパク質の膜内偏在化現象を発現させる事に成功した。本結果は、非対称構造障壁によるブラウニアンラチェット効果の発現を示唆しており、特異的に拡散性の低いGM1-コレラ毒素複合タンパク質に異方的流動がもたらされた結果であると考えられる。本結果は、今後の微小場分子操作システム開発における新たな方法論を提唱するものである。
