Research Abstract |
This study paid attention to "creative industry" and examined an ideal method of new urban economic policy centering on "reinventing the urban & regional economy" by the cluster formation. I took up examples of U.K. Netherlands Singapore and analyzed comparison and separated a condition for the creative industry cluster formation in a Japanese urban area by clarifying a characteristic of a formation process of a creative industry cluster. For fostering of the creative industry cluster, the exchanges of "tacit knowledge", the non-monetary transactions to be based on a relationship of mutual trust between companies and the context of urban culture and urban institutional thickness become particularly important. For the creative industry cluster formation, it is important to establish the policy package ; 1) the cultural incubation system that bring up a creator and a wide editor and producer of a field of vision creating, 2) the creative milieu that inspire the exchanges of "tacit knowledge" between cultural entrepreneur, 3) the original market and evaluation axis that stand on historical context of urban culture.
