Research Abstract |
Children of Children's Welfare Homes suffered from various psychiatric symptoms, and mental diseases, which come from their history of child abuse. In this research, 70% of children have abused experiences, and they have high incident rates, Reactive Attachment Disorder (35%), Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder(23%), Opposite Defiant Disorder (28%), Conduct disorder(28 % ), Generalized Anxiety Disorder(16 % ), Mood Disorder/Depressive state(16 % ), Enuresis(18 % ), Dissociative symptoms(24%) and Impulse-Control Disorder(16%), among these children, especially if they grow up in baby home. From this result, Children's Welfare Homes must have equipment for evaluation of psychological condition, and coordination with psychiatric facilities for exclusive treatment to severe mental states.
