| Research Abstract |
This study is a part of my research plan to investigate the possibility of Physical Education. The purpose of this study is to clarify the formation process of ones view of the human body among Japan, Germany and England from phenomenological viewpoint. First, this study analyzes one's view of the human body in daily life in order to clarify national difference of the view among these three countries, i.e., the originality of nationality. Then, this study tries to present the model of the formation process based on the above analysis.
In the first year (2004), a hypothesis of the formation process of one's view of the human body was presented by research of literature on human body and the questionnaires of human body in Japan. In the second year (2005), the model is refined based on research materials collected in Germany and England. In the last year (2006), the results of the former years are re-analyzed in order to point out the reason for the difference of one's view of the human body among nationality, area and age. Finally, the clear model of the formation process is presented. Next subject of this study will be to clarify the traditional Japanese view of the human body and its originality, and point out the problem of present Japanese view of the human body.
