Research Abstract |
The aim of this study is to clarify the conditions of the place for the support daily living of the early old and advanced age with social networks on residential area as the planning of living environment for them in urban area. This is based on the results of interview for residents in detached house of two residential areas which are different from conditions of location within Tokyo metropolitan area, and the results of a questionnaire given to residents in the general residential area verges on a shopping arcade in Tokyo. First, we were able to clarify the characteristics of living activities and contacts in outdoor of 32 cases of the early old and advanced age. Second, we found the characteristics of contact on action by plotting specific action in walking sphere on the area map. Finally, we are able to clarify shops and facilities which utilize for daily living on walking sphere, the actual conditions of contact on their utilization, and found the idea about contacts between residents in residential area.
