Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
Recently, we found out that nanoporous cobalt oxide nanosheets can be prepared using Cu-based MOFs as sacrificial templates for energy storage application. This is a new approach and very useful for designing various nanoporous materials with different shapes.
In addition, we demonstrated a general template-free strategy for generating hierarchical mixed oxide nanosheets from monodispersed cobalt glycerate spheres for supercapacitor/gas sensing application. Although we did not use the MOFs as sacrificial templates, this method can be reported as the alternative approach.
