Outline of Annual Research Achievements

●雲による光解離定数変動を介したOH・オゾンへの影響の評価
昨年度に引き続き、全球雲分布のOH・オゾンへの影響について、化学気候モデルを用いた推定・評価を行い、結果については人工衛星データや航空機観測データを用いた検証を実施した。また、雲が与える全球OH分布、とくにメタンの大気中寿命への影響について定量化し、整理した。この結果、対流圏大気中の雲の存在・分布により、全球平均OH濃度は、約20%増加し、オゾンについても対流圏全体で鉛直分布に顕著に影響していることが定量的に示された。
●OH 経年変動の総合評価・検証
これまでの研究で精緻化・改良された化学気候モデル計算により、全球OH 分布の経年変動についての総合的な検証や、変動メカニズムの網羅的な分離・定量化を行った。経年変動の検証として、メタンおよびMCF を対象とした再現実験(過去20~30 年)を実施し、経年観測との整合性を詳しく確認した。さらに、紫外光、水蒸気、オゾン、NOx・CO・VOCs の変動に関する感度実験を実施し、各要因がどのように過去のOH 経年変動(年々変動および長期トレンド)に寄与していたか分離・定量化を行った。この結果、過去のOH変動については、とくにNOxエミッションの変動が重要な役割を果たしており、成層圏オゾン変動による紫外光変動も顕著に寄与していることが明らかとなった。
