Outline of Annual Research Achievements

2019年度は本研究課題の最終年度であり、2020年3月に本研究課題のまとめを兼ねた国際会議を準備していた。また3月には多数の学会に参加予定があった。しかし、急遽襲ったコロナ禍の影響で旅費の繰り越しを行い、また2020年度もコロナ禍の影響が強く、旅費を使えないまま再度繰り越しを行い、併せて3年分の報告をする。
褒章関係では分担者の川崎猛史が令和2年度の文部科学大臣表彰若手科学者賞を受賞した。これは本課題の成果と直結している。また直接分担者になっていなかったが、常に会合に参加して本研究課題の推進に大いに貢献してくれた高田智史が第16回日本物理学会若手奨励賞を受賞した。これも本研究課題の成果に直結している。
2019年度は定例会議を2回行い、そのうちの1回はスペインのSatos教授を招いた会合であった。早川と高田はSantos教授と18年度に招いたGarzo教授に招かれ、2020年2月にスペインのExtremadura州のBadajozに2週間強滞在し、共同研究を進め、現在までに3篇の共著論文(うち1篇は投稿中)と2017年に出版された論文のErratumをスペイングループと共に出版した。またトップジャーナルであるPRLに印刷中を含めて2019年以降に7篇の論文が出版され、当該分野では注目を集める成果を出している。
主な成果は(1)粉体剪断系での雪崩のある塑性流動と乱流的振る舞いの関係、(2)粉体系の非局所効果、(3)ガラス状態でのゆらぎの異常、(4) ジャミング点近傍でのストレスの緩和、(5)周期駆動系の非断熱的効果、(6)ペンバ効果の解明、(7)ジャムドマターのソフト化と残留損失弾性率、等についての理論的解明を進めた。
