Outline of Final Research Achievements

In this study, a new method to measure three dimensional thermal diffusivity for carbon fiber reinforced plastics in both micro-schale and macro-schare with high accuracy has been developed. This method has been applied to fiver orientation detection method for carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic, and measurement technique and theory to obtain both thermal conductivity distribution and fiber orientation distribution have been developed.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
