| Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
RNautophagy/DNautophagy (RDA)は、我々が以前見いだした新しい細胞内分解経路で、オートファジー経路の1つ、膜透過型オートファジーである。RDAにおいては、RNAやDNAがATP存在下において直接リソソームに取り込まれ、内部で分解される。また昨年度までに、リソソーム膜におけるRNA transporter候補分子として、SIDT2を同定し論文報告した (Aizawa et al. Autophagy. 2016)。SIDT2がDNautophagyも仲介することも見いだしている (Aizawa et al. Autophagy. 2017)。SIDT2は、RNA transporterとして機能すること報告されている線虫SID-1のオルソログの1つであり、RDAにおいて重要な分子である。昨年度に引き続き、RNautophagyの生理機能解明に向けてSIDT2 KOマウスの解析、RNautophagy により分解される細胞内基質の同定、神経変性疾患関連RNAへのRNautophagyの影響について進め、研究継続中である。

引き続き、RNautophagyの生理機能解明に向けてSIDT2 KOマウスの解析、RNautophagy により分解される細胞内基質の同定、神経変性疾患関連RNAへのRNautophagyの影響などについて研究を進める。また、論文投稿を行う。
