Outline of Annual Research Achievements	The main finding of this study is that Vietnamese suppliers can achieve the most technology gains from the diffusion of the Asian investors with middle-level productivity. Apart from the empirical verification, I have also added a theoretical framework to further illustrate this mechanism. In the past year, I have focused on finishing the draft and have it presented in various workshops as well as conferences. The working paper version was published by Keio-IES Discussion Paper Series. I have presented at APTS2017 in Hanoi Vietnam, and at domestic workshops such as the one held by AGI in Kitakyushu. Based on the feedback, I have revised the paper and the paper is under review by a refereed journal.
