Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
1.The study shows that the Lymphedema tissue has higher conductivity and lower impedance compare with the normal one. 2.A new scanning method, called Quasi-adjacent method, is proposed to eliminate negative resistance artifact at high frequency measurement. 3.A new normalization equation of electrical capacitance tomography is proposed to increase the exploit performance of in-homogeneity inside the relatively complex dielectric medium. 4.A new image reconstruction based on frequency-time difference method in a part of a new EIT method, called EIST (Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy Tomography) is proposed. This method allows to analyzed impedance distribution based on dielectric relaxation model in long-term monitoring.

Current Status of Research Progress |
Current Status of Research Progress
1: Research has progressed more than it was originally planned.
Reason
The research progress is as expected. The study focuses on to find the best technique to exploit the in-homogeneity and to choose the properly of the data acquisition system characteristic. The research goal plans are almost achieved.
|
Strategy for Future Research Activity |
The clinical study will be conducted after getting the ethical clearance. During this time, a prototype system and a proposed procedure will be evaluated based on phantom object.
