Outline of Final Research Achievements

The problem of selecting facilities for elderly people is a system in which complex issues are mixed up. This research tries to grasp this problem from the mathematical viewpoint of fuzzy evaluation. Extraction of evaluation items directly affects facility selection. It was found that it is not possible to uniquely indicate on a case-by-case basis how much the extraction of evaluation items is considered. The decisive factor is that it has reached the point of exposing the difficulty of grasping elderly people's facilities choice from the viewpoint of algorithm. The solution should focus on sense making at the other end of the algorithm. This means that in the age of algorithms such as AI, it is necessary to clarify the essence of human intelligence hidden in an aging society.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
