Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The main purpose of this study was to explore countermeasure against non-use environments through application of artificial gravity using centrifugation.
When rats are exposed in (simulated) microgravity environment through unloading their hindlimbs by their tail, their walking motion is altered. Hyper gravity intervention using centrifuge during this period could prevent this motion change. However, it also came out that intervention at too high gravity might spoil this effect, which imply existence of the optimal dose of intervention.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
