Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study contemplates on the significance of the literary practices of three contemporary Ojibwe (Anishinaabe) authors, Gerald Vizenor, Louise Erdrich, and David Treuer. Examining their relations to the indigenous communities, on the one hand, I inquired into the tribal/local aspects of their writings. On the other, examining their relations to other native authors, I investigated the universal/aesthetic features concerning their works. Throughout these investigations, I evaluated these native authors as literary mediators between the tribal and the universal.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
