Outline of Annual Research Achievements |
The project has been successful in many respects. We have managed to advance our understanding of productive vocabulary as an aspect of fluency, and in relation to specific levels of proficiency for second language learner users. The project has led to three major publications (under review in 3 major impact journals). The project has also motivated a book publication, in which I am the lead author of an edited volume. The edited volume is intended to be a central reference point for researchers whose interest relates to vocabulary and the four skills. In addition to leading the book authorship, I write 2 chapters, and am co-author on a third chapter. The research achievements are not limited to these specific outputs, I have also gained immeasurably from making many research contacts.
