This study clarifies how the samurai family who conveyed medieval documents recognized it from the viewpoint of the coming.The subject is medieval documents of a samurai family based in Echigo-Aga kita.I investigated the management situation.The structure of the medieavl documents reflected the history of the region.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

政治的中心地になかった地域においては、当該地域の歴史を復元するための資料に乏しい場合が少なくない。本研究では、中世という時代を検討するための素材として用いられることの多い中世文書あるいは文書群のありようについて、伝来という観点から、通時代的にそれ自身がたどってきた歴史を見直す。そのことにより、新たな中世文書の検討の視角が与えられ、地域の歴史像復元の素材として活用することも可能となる。
