Outline of Final Research Achievements

I have examined scholarly works on shared responsibility in international law and published a book review on "Andre Nollkaemper & Ilias Plakokefalos (eds.), Principles of Shared Responsibility in International Law: An Appraisal of the State of the Art (CUP, 2014)". In addition, I have analyzed several practices in which problems of shared responsibility might arise.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements

国際法上の国家の責任論の研究には長い歴史があり、個人責任も国際刑事裁判の実践を通して発展している。国際組織の国際責任論の研究も、国連国際法委員会の条文が今後たたき台となるであろう。しかし、それらの関係（すなわち共有責任論）についての研究は少なく、日本ではおそらく皆無である。本研究はこのテーマの存在を知らしめるとともに、今後の研究の土台になることを目指した。
