Research was accomplished having several papers already published.
Outbound M&A and target employees was investigated and accomplished as I was expecting it. Precisely, I published a paper with Roman Bartnik and with Ashish Malik from Newcastle University, Australia. Furthermore, I was able to visit several important international conferences and could improve my network. I was able to publish several papers in the area. The kaken scholarship also lead e.g. to the chance to invite Jean Francois Hennart in early 2019 to a research stay at Kobe University.
As a summary, I think the mission of this kaken grant was achieved.
