Outline of Final Research Achievements

The results indicated no significant differences in self-esteem and subjective well-being scores between individuals with and without ASD. The results of this study indicated well-being and self-esteem might be correlated in ASD adolescents as well.To improve self-esteem in ASD adolescents would increase their well-being. It was concluded that experiences of success and failure, comparison with others, and loneliness could affect the subjective well-being level also in ASD adolescents. Support for facilitating interactions with others in schools is required to stop loneliness in ASD adolescents.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements
