School Activities with Self-made Teaching Materials with Multimedia-enabled Dot Codes

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

児童生徒一人ひとりの抱える困り感の軽減や解消を目指して、手作り教材を制作し、日頃の教育活動の中で実践を行い、「これまで不可能だったことを可能にする」本研究活動は、今や国内だけでも 200 名を超える一大研究プロジェクトとなっている。2018 年度も、全国の学校の教員と協働して制作した手作り教材と教育実践の成果を報告書としてまとめ、共有した。(Int. J. Hum. Cult. Stud., 28, 137-179, 2018) また、毎年開催される日本特殊教育学会の大会における自主シンポジウムやポスター発表で、全国の研究協力者を始めとする学校の教員、大学などの研究者と、取り組みの成果について共有するとともに、新しい仲間を迎え入れた。
この間、アメリカの IGI-Global 社から、研究代表者が Editor を務め、全世界から 15 本の論文をまとめた 396 ページからなる Handmade Teaching Materials for Students With Disabilities という本を８月に出版することができた。この本には、日本から８本の論文（研究代表者の論文が２本、筑波大学附属大塚特別支援学校と同桐が丘特別支援学校の教員の論文などが掲載されている）を採択し、日本発の「手作り教材の制作と教育実践」を世界に発信する貴重な取り組みとなった。2018 年の４月には、サウジアラビアの幼児教育の大会に、そして、９月には、中国で開催された China-ASEAN Forum に招待され、本研究活動を紹介し、好評を博すことができた。新たに，IGI-Global 社から，Effective Software for Gifted and Talented School Activities in K-12 Classrooms という出版の取り組みを始めている。
