Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究では,バクテリアやカビとそれらの生育に必要となる炭素源との相互関係,あるいはウイルスとホストの相互関係のような微生物と微生物が依存する要因との相互関係を数学の枠組みの中で研究することを目標とした。特に現在課題となっている温室効果ガス排出削減計画に寄与するため,二酸化炭素の発生源となる合成ポリマーの生分解プロセスに関し,その解析法を確立させることを目標とした。また鳥インフルエンザの鳥から人間,更に人間から人間への感染を未然に防止し,養鶏産業が被る経済的損失を軽減させるため養鶏ファーム内での鳥インフルエンザ感染を抑制する方法の提案も目標とした。更に,これらの課題に対し数理解析手法を確立させることにより,数学の発展に寄与することも目標とした。平成30年度には,ポリマー生分解プロセスに関しては,平成28年度と平成29年度に引き続きexogenousタイプの生分解プロセスに対するモデルと解析手法について考察を行った。特に,微生物個体数に関しては,その単位時間当たりの増殖量はポリマー分解量に依存するとの仮定のもと導かれたモデルによる逆解析を行い,更に逆解析の結果に基づくシミュレーションを行った。養鶏場における鳥インフルエンザ感染プロセスに関しては,年齢(月齢)構造をともなうモデルに基づくシミュレーションを行い,感染個体の除去およびワクチンの効果と養鶏ファームの全個体が未感染の状態の安定性に関する考察を行った。これらの結果を含め研究期間全体を通じてポリマー生分解プロセスと養鶏ファーム内での鳥インフルエンザ感染プロセスに関する研究に進展があった。
